I'm not that short!

You know what? Even though I'm barely grazing 5'4", I don't feel short at all. Like I'll be sitting next to someone, and we'll both get up and the other person will be a foot taller than I am. I'll see this and think "Oh, they're actually taller than I am!" as if most people aren't, and just keep going. It's barely within my radar. People seem to think that I really notice these things, but I don't. I tend to be surprised, as if whoever was beside me didn't have enough personality to be larger than I am. And I suppose I must have decent posture or something.

Now I have to say something less superficial to balance that out, but I can't think of any right now. I mean, this month's National Geographic magazine is all about Africa. Poor, poor Africa. Well, there I go. I feel much better now.
